Leisure Time Defender is a unique blend of organic polymers designed to prevent scale formation, aid in the removal of existing scale and to help prevent precipitation of dissolved solids in spas or hot tubs. Defender by Leisure Time is a blended organic polymer that prevents scales and calcification caused by calcium.
Protects Your Spa Equipment & Investment: Pump seals, plumbing, heaters and the surfaces of spas and hot tubs may calcify with continued exposure to the calcium present in the water, which can damage the equipment. Regular use of this product will prevent mineral build-up from occurring.
Directions: Once every other week, add 2 oz. of Defender to keep scale and stain from building on the heater element and spa shell. Run the spa for 15 minutes after adding.
